On October 13th of 2023, Behrens Projektmanagement once again held its annual creativity day. The evening before, the team traditionally met for a joint dinner. The special thing this time was that former employees were also invited and had a nice evening together with the team. The mediterranean dinner took place in the Oliva restaurant of the Vila Vita Hotel in Marburg.

The next day at 9 a.m. the actual creativity day began, which also took place at the Hotel Vila Vita. When we arrived in the conference room, there was a book on the table for each of us: Lust auf Verantwortung by Boris Grundl, a gift from our boss, as we will have a visit from the author of the book next year.

After a short introduction to the day's schedule, the first champagne bottle of the day was opened - the occasion was the extraordinarily good sales figures of Behrens Projektmanagement.

Since there were a few new employees and many had not seen each other live before, a round of introductions was held. Two people who did not know each other well were asked to get together. They then talked about predefined topics such as "current project", "greatest project successes to date" and also some personal questions such as the dream car or the next travel destination. The people then introduced each other in the round. A very nice idea to create a round of introductions.

After a first coffee break, the creative part of the day started. The topic of this year's creativity day was the design of the intranet. In four groups, initial ideas for the content of the intranet page were to be collected. We had about 1 ½ hours to do this.

After another break, we started working on the ideas. The groups discussed which ideas would go on the intranet page and how it should be designed. For this, the groups use whiteboards to display the intranet page. We also had about 1 ½ hours for this. A lot of ideas were collected and shown and all the whiteboards were very attractively designed.

In the end, not "the best" whiteboard was selected, but all ideas were included and discussed in detail. How exactly the intranet page will actually be designed was not decided on the creativity day, as this would have gone beyond the scope. It will be implemented in the coming weeks.

The creativity day lasted until 4:30 p.m., but that was not the end of it. In the evening, the BPM team met at the Waggonhalle Marburg to see the musical "Der kleine Horrorladen" (The Little Shop of Horrors). A great ending!
