At Behrens Projektmanagement, the IPMA Level D training is part of the basic vocational courses, because it is fitting for everyone, who is interested in project management and is willing to enhance their own theoretical knowledge as well as the personal communication skills. The IPMA certification is a valuable tool to deepen competences and abilities in the field of project management and to provide a certain security and quality guarantee in customer projects.

The further training of the German corporation for project management (GPM) addresses work package managers, students in majors with contents that have to do with project management, apprentices in the dual vocational education and training, as well as professionally experienced people, who want to support their experiences so far with profound knowledge in project management. 

The certification will be conducted at an authorized training partner of the GPM and consists of 7 seminar days. The advanced training lasts ca. 4 months and is structured into 4 modules with a written exam at its end. The topics contain the planning and supervision of the project as well as self-reflection, -management and personal communication. But also, topics like the project design, the stakeholder analysis, the scheduling and the budgeting are part of the seminar.

You can choose between two paths for the certification. The first path contains a report and a written exam, and the second path contains two written exams, 90 minutes each. The training partner, that was chosen by us recommends the first path. During the training you must therefor create a report (max. 25 pages) on a project of your choice and apply the key points covered in the seminar. This allows you to directly apply the theoretical knowledge in practice and internalize the topics even more. Furthermore, there is an app, where you can intensify your knowledge and practice the questions for the final exam.
