A big step on a long journey
Behrens Projektmanagement GmbH organizes a creative day every year on the company anniversary on October 2nd. On this day, all employees of the company come together and develop ideas and goals for the company together. On this occasion, the idea arose to introduce a quality management system based on ISO 9001, which we have worked very intensively on over the last three years. - And today, in the summer of 2021, we are close to certification.
A key step on this path was the mock audit on April 30, 2021. It was an internal audit carried out by an external auditor. He sent the company an audit plan in advance, in which the time frame planned for the individual areas was defined. A total of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. was planned, which was exceeded by half an hour. The focus was on the management process and management tasks, all customer-related processes, the management system, development and service provision. The auditor devoted two and a half hours of attention to the area of leadership processes and leadership tasks.
The audit proceeded in such a way that the auditor asked the responsible persons of the respective areas questions. Specifically, the audited persons included the QM representative, the marketing manager and the group leaders. The managing director had to provide information on all areas. Finally, the auditor gave a summary in which he identified a few aspects that could still be improved, but overall his assessment was positive, so that we can approach our certification on July 16th and 17th with confidence.
